Matthew is a traveller of the world, having visited 31 countries and lived in four.  He is a Marketing professional, artist, psychic motivational coach, writer, and real estate investor.

His inspiration for art started at a very young age.  He spent many afternoons after school watching his grandmother, Ieva Pocius, a well-known Lithuanian-Australian sculptor, work in her studio.

Many find it amazing that it was relatively late in life that he first picked up a paint brush.  His first painting, though simple was exciting for his wife who encouraged him to continue.  The ideas for his art come from his observations of the world, and the way we interact.  He is interested in the spiritual growth of people and psychological motivations of people's actions.  He enjoys portraits, but more abstract, meaningful paintings excite him.  Mostly though he likes to create paintings that have meaning and make people think.
